Luxury, to me, isn’t all about extravagance. It’s about time, intention, and creating a wedding day that feels true to you and the people around you.
That’s why, as a luxury destination wedding photographer and storyteller, I care so much about the smaller parts of the day. The conversations after dinner, the way people gather together, and what everyone carries with them once the weekend is over.
My Approach
I believe weddings are one of the few moments in life where people fully slow down and reconnect with one another. Being trusted to document that honestly is something I never take lightly.
My approach to editorial wedding photography is shaped less by performance and more by paying attention to what is naturally happening around me.
My Connection To Portugal
I was born just outside Lisbon and moved to the Netherlands when I was still very young. I’m not going to lie, I’ve always had a strong connection with Portugal, and over time I realized I feel most like myself when I’m there. That’s probably why I eventually decided to move back.
Why I Started Photographing Weddings
As long as I can remember, I’ve loved sitting with photography books and studying the emotion behind the images.
After planning our own wedding, I experienced firsthand how much these celebrations can stay with you long after the day itself is over, which eventually led me toward documenting weddings full time.

How did we get married?
My husband and I were in the same boat that you are in now.
Instead of planning a big wedding, like most of our friends, we decided to have an intimate wedding in Portugal with only our best friends and closest family members present. This was the best decision we could have made.
I’ll never forget how it felt when I was reading my vows out loud and my soon-to-be husband was looking at me with tears in his eyes.
