I’ve spent the last several years photographing luxury destination weddings across Portugal and Southern Europe. The couples I work with care deeply about the quality of their day, not just how it looks, but how it feels and what they’ll carry with them after.
My background is in design, which shapes how I see a room, a location, and a moment. But the work itself comes from something simpler: paying attention, staying close, and knowing when to step back.
I work in English and Dutch, travel across Southern Europe, and take on a limited number of commissions each year.

The couples who come to me for destination weddings have usually already thought carefully about the venue, the light, the guest list, and the experience they want to create for everyone there.
I work the same way and care about the same things, which is probably why many of the weddings I photograph happen across several days in places like Portugal, Italy, and France.
Intimate Elopements
Some couples choose to elope in Madeira or along the Algarve coast, while others head to the countryside of Italy or France.
What they usually have in common is wanting something quieter, more intentional, and connected to the place where it happens.
