At some point during the speeches I realised I was At some point during the speeches I realised I was laughing with the room and wiping away a tear. I’m not sure when I stopped being the photographer. Lorraine and Dennis had this way of making everyone in the room feel like they were supposed to be there, and I think that included us. Not as the photo and video team, but as people who were part of the day. They trusted us completely, and gave us the space to see the day in our own way. This is what that looked like. . . .

At the beginning of this week I took some time to At the beginning of this week I took some time to step away from the usual pace and just create. I spent the day at @chateauneercanne. It’s the kind of place that feels grand, yet quiet and personal. The perfect setting to slow down, explore ideas, and get inspired for future weddings. These photos aren’t from a real wedding or elopement, but the intention behind them is the same. I’m always drawn to moments that feel natural, intentional, and full of presence. There’s a moment I keep coming back to...    It wa There’s a moment I keep coming back to...    It wasn’t the ceremony. It wasn’t the golden light, which disappeared too quickly and turned into heavy clouds and rain. And it wasn’t the clinking of champagne glasses in the courtyard.    It was the first look.    E and P seeing each other for the first time.  You could feel the nerves in the air. The way anticipation built with every quiet step E took. The only sound was the gravel beneath their feet. P stood there, waiting, not seeing but feeling everything. The weight of the day. The love. The pause before everything unfolded.    And I watched them both, completely still. That moment reminded me again why I do this work.    Before the first look happens, I will guide you through what it could feel like. We talk about where it might take place, who will be present, and how the moment will unfold.     But once it begins, it’s no longer mine to lead. I step back and give you space to have something that’s entirely yours.    No pressure. No posing. I almost didn’t share this shoot. I wasn’t sure if I almost didn’t share this shoot. I wasn’t sure if it fits. 🫣    I photographed this during a workshop from @dunasproject in Fuerteventura a few years ago.  The location was stunning, an old, roofless structure that felt part church, part ruin.  Light was pouring in from above, and everything felt raw in the best way.    The table setup was vibrant and bold. The styling was thoughtful.  It pushed me creatively, and I remember feeling inspired the entire time.    But still, I hesitated to share it.  Was it too editorial?
